See what's behind you
Tight underground car parks, bollards, children playing: with a retrofitted reversing camera, you see what's happening behind your car. We install it specifically for your vehicle – with an HD picture, guide lines and neatly hidden cables.

Wide rear pillars, small rear windows and headrests limit the view behind many cars. Parking sensors beep, but they don't show you what is in the way. With a reversing camera retrofit – a backup camera, as it's known in North America – the area directly behind your car appears on the display as soon as you reverse, complete with guide lines for distance and direction.
We mount the camera specifically for your car, route every cable out of sight inside the bodywork and test everything before you get your car back. We can collect your car and return it – free of charge in Zurich and Zug, and for a small flat fee within 60 km of Zurich.
Narrow bays, pillars and steep ramps: with a camera, you park precisely instead of by feel.
Low obstacles often disappear below the rear window. The camera shows them before they cost you money.
A child or a bike behind the car is easy to miss in the mirrors. The camera shows the area right behind the rear.
When hitching up, you see the tow ball on screen and can guide it under the coupling without a helper.
With no rear window or a tall body, you can barely see behind you. More on campervans and vans.
Parking on the street gets easier when you can see the distance to the vehicle behind on the display.
A reversing camera is quick to buy – what matters is how it's installed.
The right position depends on your car. We'll show you the options during the check.
The camera sits in a number plate light that replaces the original – discreetly above the plate, which stays properly lit.
A narrow camera bar above the number plate is a flexible solution for many models.
For some models, tailgate handles with a built-in camera are available. From the outside, everything looks factory-fitted.
On vans and campervans, the camera sits high up in the brake light. The raised angle shows more of the area behind the vehicle.
The difference between a good retrofit and an annoying one often comes down to the wiring. We run the camera cable through the existing rubber grommets between tailgate and body, behind the trim panels and along the sills to the display. The reverse signal comes from the reversing light or – depending on the car – via the CAN bus, your car's data network.
We only drill if there's no other way, and only after talking to you; the spot is then properly sealed. We use wired cameras: wireless ones are quicker to fit, but prone to picture drop-outs and lag.
Pulling out of a steep underground car park or a narrow driveway, and the bonnet hides exactly what you need to see? A front camera in the grille uses its wide viewing angle to show cross traffic, cyclists and pedestrians before you edge forward.
The front camera costs CHF 249 including installation when ordered with a package. You switch it on with a tap on the display; depending on the system, it can also come on automatically for a few seconds after reversing. It's handy for parking nose-first against a wall, too.
A camera needs a display to show its picture. That's why it makes most sense together with a new touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto – the Premium package already includes an HD reversing camera.
If your car has a factory reversing camera, we can keep it in most cases when you switch to a new display. Some cars need an adapter for this; any extra cost is clearly stated in the quote.
For cars with a factory screen, such as many BMW, Audi or Mercedes-Benz models, we check whether a camera can be shown on the original display via an interface. Find your model under vehicles.

A camera always needs a screen. In cars with a basic radio, a new display is therefore required – and it brings CarPlay, Android Auto and navigation with it. If your car has a factory screen, we check whether the camera can be integrated via an interface.
At night, your reversing lights illuminate the area behind the car; how bright and noise-free the picture is depends on the camera model. In rain, snow and road salt, wiping the lens with a soft cloth now and then helps.
Often not, because we use existing openings and cable grommets. If a hole is needed, we discuss it with you beforehand and seal it properly.
As a rule, yes – they keep beeping as before. On many Volkswagen Group cars, the visual parking display can also appear on the new screen; we check this beforehand.
We usually fit the camera together with the display, which typically takes 2 to 4 hours. With our pickup service, you'll normally have your car back the same day. More on how it works.
Tell us your make, model and year, ideally with a photo of the rear and the radio. You'll receive a fixed-price quote within 24 hours (working days).
