From the Corsa D to the Insignia, we replace your old Opel radio with a modern touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto – a precise fit, with pickup and return.
Complete fromCHF 690incl. device, installation & pickup
Opel models such as the Astra, Corsa, Zafira and Insignia (sold as Vauxhall in the UK) are popular, dependable everyday cars in Switzerland – but their radios with small displays and CD slots now feel dated. With a CarPlay retrofit for your Opel (or Android Auto), you get a large touchscreen with navigation via Google Maps, Waze or Apple Maps, music streaming and hands-free calling by voice.
On most Opels, a new Android display with a vehicle-specific fascia replaces the original radio – neatly integrated, without cutting any wires. The Essential package starts from CHF 690; for DAB+ and faster hardware we recommend Comfort from CHF 890. On younger cars with IntelliLink, we first check whether CarPlay is already there or can be activated.
We collect your Opel from home or work – included in Zurich and Zug – and usually return it the same day. See all packages on our prices page and get your free fixed-price quote via the enquiry form for your Opel.
A selection — other models and years are often possible too. We check the exact solution free of charge from a photo of your dashboard.

Opel has fitted three main radio generations over the past twenty years. Here's how we approach each one:
Typical of the Astra H, Zafira B and Corsa D. The radio sits in the centre console, while the time and trip computer appear on a separate info display at the top of the dashboard. A new Android display replaces the radio; depending on the model, the info display keeps showing the time and trip computer.
Astra J, Insignia A and Meriva B. Here a display with a matching fascia replaces the control panel and radio. The steering-wheel buttons keep working via a CAN-bus adapter – the CAN bus being the car's internal data network.
Touchscreen systems in, for example, the facelifted Insignia or the Corsa E. Some versions from around 2015/2016 already support CarPlay or can be updated, depending on their software. We check this before offering you new hardware.
All packages include the device, fitting kit, installation, set-up, a personal introduction and pickup and return in Zurich and Zug. You receive the binding fixed price for your car in writing with your quote.

"From" prices: the final price depends on your car (e.g. a sound-system adapter) and is stated bindingly in your quote — no surprises.
On the Astra H, Zafira B, Corsa D and many models with CD 300 or Navi 600, the upper display shows the time, outside temperature and trip computer. Depending on the model, these readouts are kept in most cases, while radio stations and calls move to the new touchscreen. Some vehicle settings may only be partly accessible afterwards, depending on the adapter – we discuss this before installation.
That depends on the version and year. The first IntelliLink systems (approx. 2012–2015) don't offer CarPlay. Some systems from around 2015/2016 – in the Corsa E, for example – have CarPlay from the factory, or it may be possible via a software update. Send us a photo of the screen and the year: we'll tell you whether an update will do or a new display makes more sense.
With a new display and the Essential package, from CHF 690 including installation, set-up and pickup in Zurich and Zug. For DAB+, faster hardware and a high-resolution display, we recommend the Comfort package from CHF 890. You'll receive the binding fixed price for your car after our free check – full details on the prices page.
In most cases, yes – provided your Opel has steering-wheel audio controls. A CAN-bus adapter translates the signals for the new display, so you can adjust the volume, skip tracks and take calls as usual. The parking sensor beeps usually keep working too. The quote states exactly which functions are retained on your model.
Send us the model and year, ideally with a photo of the radio — you will receive your fixed-price quote within 24 hours.
