From the Ibiza to the Alhambra: we add wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to your Seat – with a free compatibility check, a written fixed-price quote and pickup from your home or workplace.

The Leon, Ibiza and Altea share a lot of technology with VW and Skoda – and often the same problem: the car runs reliably, but the radio can do neither Apple CarPlay nor Android Auto. When you retrofit CarPlay to your Seat, you get live navigation with Google Maps, Waze or Apple Maps, music streaming and safe, voice-controlled hands-free calling.
On most Seats up to around 2015, a new Android touchscreen with a made-to-measure fascia replaces the factory radio – the steering-wheel buttons and parking beeps keep working in most cases. On newer models such as the Leon 3 or the facelifted Alhambra, we first check whether Full Link (Seat's name for its CarPlay and Android Auto connection) is already on board or can be activated.
We collect your Seat from home or work and usually bring it back the same day. Packages start from CHF 690 – see prices and packages for the details. You receive a binding fixed price in writing: request a quote for your Seat.
A selection — other models and years are often possible too. We check the exact solution free of charge from a photo of your dashboard.
| Model | Type | Years | Factory radio / system | Typical solution |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Leon 2 | 1P | 2005–2012 | Media System 2.1, Media System 2.2 | New display |
| Leon 3 | 5F | 2012–2020 | Media System Touch/Colour/Plus, Navi System (MIB1, MIB2) | Individual check |
| Ibiza | 6L | 2002–2008 | – | New display |
| Ibiza | 6J/6P | 2008–2017 | Media System Touch/Colour (6P) | New display |
| Altea / Altea XL | 5P | 2004–2015 | Media System 2.1, Media System 2.2 | New display |
| Toledo 3 | 5P | 2004–2009 | – | New display |

| Exeo | 3R | 2008–2013 | – | New display |
The Ibiza 6L and 6J, Leon 2, Altea, Toledo and Exeo usually have a radio in a double-DIN slot, twice the standard height – depending on the equipment, a CD radio or a navigation unit such as the Media System 2.1 or 2.2. Here a 9" or 10" Android display replaces the factory radio, with a vehicle-specific fascia and a plug-and-play harness, without cutting the original wiring.
The Leon 3, Ibiza 6P and facelifted Alhambra use MIB infotainment (Media System Touch, Colour or Plus, Navi System). From model year 2016 – built from around mid-2015 – Seat offered Full Link, the combination of Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink. Depending on the unit, Full Link is already active or can be activated retrospectively, sometimes with a different USB socket. Older Leon 3s and cars with the smaller radios usually need a new display.
A photo of your radio is enough – we'll tell you which solution suits your Seat. We're also happy to check the Mii, Toledo 4 or Ateca.
All packages include the device, fitting kit, installation, set-up, a personal introduction and pickup and return in Zurich and Zug. You receive the binding fixed price for your car in writing with your quote.

"From" prices: the final price depends on your car (e.g. a sound-system adapter) and is stated bindingly in your quote — no surprises.
Possibly. Full Link – Seat's name for Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink – is available on the Leon 3 from model year 2016 (built from around mid-2015) with the Media System Plus or Navi System. Depending on the equipment, it is already active or can be activated, sometimes with a different USB socket. Older Leon 3s and cars with a smaller radio usually get a new display. A photo of the screen is all we need to assess it.
On more recent Ibiza model years, the hazard-light switch and passenger airbag indicator are built into the radio panel. Both are safety-relevant and must work exactly as before after the upgrade. That's why we check in advance, based on the model year and a photo, whether and with which fascia or solution this can be done properly in your car – and we'll tell you honestly if it can't.
There is no CarPlay update for these navigation units. We replace the Media System with a new 9" or 10" Android display and matching fascia – with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, navigation from your smartphone and DAB+ if you wish. The steering-wheel buttons and parking beeps keep working in most cases, and you get the original unit back, for example for when you sell the car. Packages start from CHF 690.
Yes. In a large family car like the Alhambra, a reversing camera is a real help when parking. Ordered with a package, the HD camera with guide lines costs CHF 249 including installation, and it is already included in the Premium package. If your Alhambra already has a factory camera, it can be kept in most cases – some cars need an extra adapter.
Send us the model and year, ideally with a photo of the radio — you will receive your fixed-price quote within 24 hours.
