Swing, Bolero, Amundsen or Columbus: we add wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to your Skoda – with a free compatibility check, a written fixed-price quote and pickup from your home or workplace.

An Octavia, Superb or Yeti is built to cover a lot of kilometres – and the car often outlasts its radio. No Apple CarPlay, no Android Auto, out-of-date maps: when you retrofit CarPlay to your Skoda, it's right up to date again. You navigate with Google Maps, Waze or Apple Maps, listen to Spotify or podcasts and make calls safely hands-free.
On most Skodas up to around 2015, a new Android touchscreen with a made-to-measure fascia replaces the factory radio – the steering-wheel buttons and parking beeps keep working in most cases. On newer models, we first check whether SmartLink (Skoda's name for its CarPlay and Android Auto connection) is already on board or can be activated, which can be considerably cheaper.
We collect your Skoda from home or work and usually bring it back the same day. Packages start from CHF 690 – see prices and packages for the details. You receive a binding fixed price in writing: request a quote for your Skoda.
A selection — other models and years are often possible too. We check the exact solution free of charge from a photo of your dashboard.
| Model | Type | Years | Factory radio / system | Typical solution |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Octavia 2 | 1Z | 2004–2013 | Swing, Bolero, Amundsen+, Columbus | New display |
| Octavia 3 | 5E | 2012–2020 | Swing, Bolero, Amundsen, Columbus (MIB1, MIB2) | Individual check |
| Superb 2 | 3T | 2008–2015 | Swing, Bolero, Amundsen+, Columbus | New display |
| Yeti | 5L | 2009–2017 | Swing, Bolero, Amundsen, Columbus | New display |
| Fabia 2 | 5J | 2007–2014 | Blues, Dance, Swing | New display |
| Fabia 3 | NJ | 2014–2021 | Swing, Bolero, Amundsen | Individual check |
| Roomster | 5J | 2006–2015 | Blues, Dance, Swing | New display |
| Rapid | NH | 2012–2019 | Blues, Swing, Bolero, Amundsen | Individual check |
The Octavia 2, Superb 2, Yeti, Fabia 2 and Roomster usually have a double-DIN radio – a unit in a slot twice the standard height – such as the Blues, Dance, Swing or Bolero, or the Amundsen+ or Columbus sat nav. None of these can run CarPlay. Here a 9" or 10" Android display replaces the factory radio, with a vehicle-specific fascia and a plug-and-play harness, without cutting the original wiring.
From model year 2016 – built from around mid-2015 – Skoda offered SmartLink on the Octavia 3 and Yeti, and later on the Fabia 3 and Rapid: the combination of Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink. Depending on the unit (the newer-generation Swing, Bolero, Amundsen or Columbus), SmartLink is already active or can be activated. Earlier Octavia 3s with MIB1 usually need a new display.
A photo of your radio is enough – we'll tell you what's fitted and which solution suits your car. We're also happy to check older Octavias or the Superb 3.
All packages include the device, fitting kit, installation, set-up, a personal introduction and pickup and return in Zurich and Zug. You receive the binding fixed price for your car in writing with your quote.

"From" prices: the final price depends on your car (e.g. a sound-system adapter) and is stated bindingly in your quote — no surprises.
SmartLink is Skoda's name for Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink. On the Octavia 3 it is available from model year 2016 (built from around mid-2015) with the newer generation of infotainment – depending on the equipment, it is already active or can be activated. Earlier Octavia 3s still have the older unit generation, where a new display is the usual solution. A photo of your home screen is all we need to assess it.
Yes, especially then. Columbus was the top navigation system in Skoda's range, but its maps are usually out of date today, and CarPlay and Android Auto are missing. A new Android display brings live navigation from your smartphone, a larger and faster touchscreen and, with the Comfort package, DAB+. The steering-wheel buttons and parking beeps keep working in most cases, and you get the original unit back – handy if you sell the car later.
In most cases, yes. Cars with a Canton or other factory sound system with amplifier need a suitable adapter so that the amplifier is controlled correctly and the sound is retained. We plan this adapter after the check and list it transparently in your fixed-price quote. We can usually tell whether your Skoda has such a system from the speaker grilles or the equipment list.
In most cases, yes. There are vehicle-specific fascias for these models that let a 9" or 10" display sit neatly in the dashboard. The exact size depends on the model and year and is stated in your quote. With the Premium package we fit the largest display that suits your car – and an HD reversing camera is already included.
Send us the model and year, ideally with a photo of the radio — you will receive your fixed-price quote within 24 hours.
