Whether it's a Focus with a Sony radio, a Kuga with SYNC or a Transit Custom, we add Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to your Ford – with a large touchscreen, pickup and return.
Complete fromCHF 690incl. device, installation & pickup
Fords such as the Focus, Fiesta, Kuga and Mondeo are robust everyday cars that often stay on the road for many years – but a radio with a tiny display and a CD slot can't keep up. With a CarPlay retrofit for your Ford (or Android Auto), you get a large touchscreen with up-to-date navigation, music streaming, hands-free calling and voice control for messages.
In most Fords, a new Android display with a vehicle-specific fascia replaces the original radio – from CHF 690, or with DAB+ in the Comfort package from CHF 890. If your Ford already has SYNC 3 (from around 2015/2016), we first check whether CarPlay is already on board or can be enabled with a software update – in which case you may not need new hardware at all.
We collect your Ford – included in Zurich and Zug – and usually return it the same day. Find out more about the packages on our prices page and get your free fixed-price quote via the enquiry form for your Ford.
A selection — other models and years are often possible too. We check the exact solution free of charge from a photo of your dashboard.

With Ford, the right solution depends mainly on which radio or SYNC generation is fitted:
For example in the Focus 2, Fiesta, Kuga 1, Mondeo 4, S-Max and Galaxy. A new Android display with a matching fascia replaces the radio completely.
SYNC 1 offers Bluetooth and voice commands with a small display, SYNC 2 an 8-inch touchscreen – neither supports CarPlay. A new display is the usual solution here; in most cases the steering-wheel buttons and parking beeps are retained.
In many cases SYNC 3 supports CarPlay and Android Auto from the factory, sometimes only after a software update. We check this first and tell you honestly whether a retrofit is worthwhile at all. Not sure which version you have? A photo of the screen is enough.
All packages include the device, fitting kit, installation, set-up, a personal introduction and pickup and return in Zurich and Zug. You receive the binding fixed price for your car in writing with your quote.

"From" prices: the final price depends on your car (e.g. a sound-system adapter) and is stated bindingly in your quote — no surprises.
Only SYNC 3 does. SYNC 1 (Bluetooth and voice commands) and SYNC 2 (8-inch touchscreen) don't support CarPlay or Android Auto, so a new display replaces the system. SYNC 3, fitted from around 2015/2016, offers CarPlay in many cases straight from the factory or after a software update. A photo of the screen is enough for us to identify the version.
In most cases, yes. A CAN-bus adapter translates the steering-wheel button signals for the new display – the CAN bus is your car's internal data network. Depending on the model, the parking sensor beeps are retained either directly or via the adapter. The quote states exactly which functions keep working on your Ford.
Especially in a van: up-to-date navigation with live traffic, hands-free calling and voice control make the working day easier. On the early Transit Custom (approx. 2012–2017), a new display replaces the radio, often combined with a reversing camera for CHF 249. Read more on our campervans and vans page.
With a new display and the Essential package, from CHF 690 – including installation, set-up, a short introduction and pickup in Zurich and Zug. For DAB+ and faster hardware, we recommend Comfort from CHF 890. You'll receive the fixed price for your car in writing after our free check. Full details on the prices page.
Send us the model and year, ideally with a photo of the radio — you will receive your fixed-price quote within 24 hours.
